Twin Rainbow’s Co-op, 1465 Lamey’s Mill Road
Buzz 57 – for 5th floor lounge, Tel: 604-739-1465, Vancouver (map)
Near the entrance to Granville Island.

Welcome in 2012! Bring a pot-luck lunch to share and join Brian Ruhe for this day long meditation retreat. This is the next in a series of monthly meditation days at this beautiful, spacious, quiet location, made for meditating. We are in the bright common room of a Co-op on the 5th floor with a great view over False Creek and with an outdoor deck. Bring a friend!

The day will be balanced with lectures, silent walking and sitting meditation, loving kindness and guided meditations, and discussions, plus tea and food! Bring your own cushion if you want one, or chairs will be provided. We will practice in the Theravada Forest tradition but you are free to use your own techniques.

You are free to come for just part of the day if need to. You can plan for lunch around 1:00 – 2:00 pm. By your name you can print what you will bring for the pot-luck. Details could change slightly and will be posted here.

Cost: By dana (donation) which is the Buddhist tradition of not charging for the Buddhist teachings but supporting teachers with generosity from the heart. Donations are greatly appreciated and necessary to keep spreading the Buddhist teachings.

For questions please email Brian or phone him at 604-738-8475. Website: theravada.ca
